They're making progress!! I felt like I was moving a little too fast and getting a little chaotic but they definitely learned.
Carmine has Mina 1B down now. They both have opposite problems though its kinda funny. Carmine retains knowledge but gets really panicky during matches and doesn't apply it while Feef doesn't retain info as quickly, albeit I didn't have that much to teach them, but doesn't go into scared mode while playing. They both got better as they played more though so they're on the right track, I want them both to get good one day and beat me.

I tended to play either super high level pad songs, since they're still actually doable with less than 5 hands on the keyboard. My only real complaint with djmax is it sounds like a mess with all the different noises and sounds that don't really match the song when you play.

I've never really come across a rhythm game I've genuinely disliked. There were a few VR ones that for some reason kept crashing on me and I couldn't actually play them but that's about it. If I had to pick a rhythm game to only play, it'd be a toss up between Stepmania and osu! because they're the most mainstream and therefore the most known.

Are you particularly smart in any field that people want to know more about? Do informational videos. Do art reps. Take your streams and make edited highlight videos. Make meme videos and post them on twitter. Want to collab? Do it as a recorded and edited video instead of a stream. It'll be much more entertaining that way since you won't split your attention between chat and the collab partner.
There are plenty of things you can do besides just going live to make more content.

Vods also nuke your chance of hitting the algo. Hardly anything over 30 minutes will ever hit someone's recommended feed unless all they do is watch 2+ hour long documentaries and video essays.
This is why people say to split vods and clips/highlights into two channels, but that's a hassle and a half when most indies migrate to twitch, so most don't, even if they do export vods.

This is a case of people knowing what's right but also feeling that there's not enough benefit behind doing what's right when NOT doing it has pretty much the same effect for no investment.
