Have you been watching vtubers since 2016 when Kizuna Ai debuted and started the craze?

I watched Kizuna for a bit but lost interest pretty quick. Got pulled back in by the Holos in 2020. I enjoy the livestream format more.

she was my very first introduction to vtubers when i still know her as that animu girl who says "fakkyu", but only really got into them at 2019 when i happened to stumble on Kizuna Ai's playthroughs of Mario Maker when i was binge watching Mario Maker custom levels.

I watched some of Kizuna in 2016.
Mostly I picked up watching them in 2020 though.

Same, but I really got into them after people started posting OmeSis.

But she dropped off the algorithm and so stopped.
3 years later Youtube recommended me a cute anime girl seething at Cat Mario, and here I am.

I saw a poll once where half a million claimed to subscribe to her in 2016. The only problem with that is she only had 100,000 subscribers in 2016.

This is why nobody believes anyone who says they watched her from the beginning. Even if you actually did.

If you want to lie about it for clout say you started watching her when she actually blew up halfway into 2017 because that's more believable and harder to disprove.
