Well she claimed an "infinite hiatus", denied going into Hololive, but at the very end of the stream, dropped a hint that "I might be back sooner than you think, you might have to find me".
She also nuked every single one of her old Twitch VODs including her goodbye stream which had a lot of crying.
This heavily indicated that she was going corpo.

She also said on an older stream that she was rejected from NijiEN and VShojo, and she had enough numbers as an indie to compete against the smaller corpos and even release her own merch.

That left only Hololive as a possibility. She was a Holofan, could sing and could play FPS related games and gun autism, which would fill a niche that EN doesn't have.
She still has pic related at the end of the channel, so this is definitely a weird stream to do out of nowhere.

That said, I missed a lot of early parts since I was at work, so I'll need to check if she left any other hints later on.
I hope she doesn't nuke this VOD as well.

I think the problem people here have with EN is that as a whole they aren't numberfags at all and have no real ambitions to grow their channel or their music/idol career and are perfectly happy with only streaming debuff games or Minecraft until they die.
The biggest outliers in EN are unironically Mori, Kiara and maybe Gura. But even Mori who was the song powerhouse seems to have peaked ever since the Universal thing. Kiara just kinda gave up. Gura is Gura.

JP has people like that too like Luna or Roboco but this thread only looks at people like Pekora, Marine, Suisei, etc and all the Holos who don't get on the tally might as well not exist.

The only ambitious ones in EN are Fauna and Gura. They want to make entertaining stuff for the audience and contribute to the Holo ecosystem.
Ame wants to do the same in her own way, but she also doesn't understand Hololive's culture so her contributions are mainly backstage stuff or tech related.
Mori has "made it" for lack of a better term. She's been signed into a Music label, the ultimate goal for any aspiring indie artist. Her journey is essentially "done", and her newer songs reflect that. There's no ambition or weight behind them anymore.

The rest of the ENs are some of the very rare few breed of western women who know about "gratitude" and "contentment". And so, while they are grateful for their audience and don't want to rock the boat too much, they also do not have any ambitions to go further beyond where they already are.

EN has an ENORMOUS potential, Gura is proof of that. She doesn't even need to try any hard, she is just consistent in her choice of content and her choice of style.
You go back and watch a Gura 2020 VOD, you then watch a Gura 2021 VOD and a Gura 2022 VOD and there is little change, except in the parts she actually improved.
Ina likewise. She was slow and comfy back in 2020, back in 2021 and now in 2022 and the stability of her numbers also reflect that.

I'll make a carve out for Mori here: her live streaming may not have improved and her live streaming numbers are suffering but she improved overall too. I don't know if UMG will significantly improve her music sales but she's fighting tooth and nail to achieve that.

Now Ame and Kiara: they both are worse streamers now than they were at debut. They didn't improive the littlest in their own livestreams
ame improved technically, mostly to help others
and picked up all sorts of bad habits and let the fact they're the top of the field rise to their heads.

I actually went on a dive into haachama's Twitter dating back to Feb-April 2021 during I'd say the prime of her schizo arc, seeing the people who made art of her, and commented on her tweets.
An overwhelming majority were English artists and English comments under her tweets.
Looking through their own twitters, most were either abandoned, or haven't posted about any Vtubers for at least 3-4 months with some never even watching jps and haven't went from haachama to the ENs mainly gura, and that goes for both the artists and just regular viewers.
As for the jp fans, haachama didn't really bring that many in from her schizo arc, some came, some left and some stayed but the increase was much much less than your regular fotm games that bring on jps tourists.

Gen 4:
Watame and Towa have potential to grow more as singers. As streamers, Watame has her niche that won't let her grow and become a stable 10k+ ccv streamer. Towa has also kinda settled and we can't really expect her ccv to grow significantly.
Out of gen 4, I think that Kanata has the most potential as a streamer and she could imho grow to be a 20k hitter, but she's been held back by health issues and now also by having to move out of the blue because of sudden development around Friend C.

Gen 5:
Polka can make great kino and she's by far the most talented at entertaining people out of Gen 5 members. But there's something holding her back from growing more and I can't really tell what exactly it is. It's almost as if she was comfortable where she is and was reluctant to get bigger.
Nene is the best overall package. She can be hilarious and she stands out among gen 5 members when it comes to idol skills and activities. However, she's not a show maker like Pekora or Miko. She's also quite frail mentally.

Gen 6:
Koyori and Lui put in a lot of work and it's been paying off.
Koyori particularly shines along other kino makers, but she can be very entertaining herself. She's also a good and diligent content maker, as demonstrated by AsaKoyo, and she can organize things, which is a valuable skill in Hololive. She has the biggest potential in Gen 6 to become a stable 20k+ streamer.
Lui had a rough start, partly because her model doesn't really captivate you as much at first as Chloe, Koyori or Iroha for example, and also because of her throat/voice issues that made everyone label her as the one with debuff voice. However, despite her pon side, she's got her shit together, she's good at interacting with people which means more collabs opportunities, and she's good at organizing collabs and coming up with good collab ideas.
Iroha has a lot of skills, but she seems to be too shy to do herself justice and sell herself more.
Chloe and Lap had great start but things went downhill. Lap never seemed to be particularly excited about streaming and it has escalated and now she barely streams at all. Chloe has a great potential as a singer, but her streams are one-faceted and she seems to be under the impression that the character of a cute klutz with a slightly cocky attitude that gained her so many fans in the beginning is enough to keep people interested. She also streams less now and rarely streams things that have good potential content-wise or in other words, the buff stuff.

From my understanding of this, the models themselves were all said and done. I’m pretty sure she adamantly stated that there was no changing the actual model design. That was set in stone. The input she/they ACTUALLY had was like the color scheme of the outfit and how the outfit itself was drawn up.

She has an entire vid about this somewhere if you go look back. Huke gave her the pre-debut model designs. She used to have different hair as well
