Can someone explain how come big corpo chuubas dont have models with a bunch of different facial expressions and accessories?
I see this a lot with small corpos and indies of course. What is with the corpo autism where their models can basically only smile, frown and MAYBE cry, and thats it.

Noone gives an utter shit about the 2view in your OP, the only possible way they'd stick out between the million other irrelevant talentless brigade is by having a sweet modern model. Imagine they skimped on the detail and could only smile and frown with that lack of debut hype/charisma?

There's no real need. The gimmicks are cool for 2 seconds and are never used again.

Like sure, its better to have than not. But in the grand scheme of things it's minor. They get more outfits which is arguably more important.

So everything has to be completely bare bones, even if the chuuba in question is very talented and can keep an audience even as a png? I dont think those additions cost a lot and they definitely add to the experience so theres nothing to lose really.

Nijisanji and Hololive uses proprietary software that is made inhouse that's years behind software made for cheap you can get on steam right now. That's pretty much the main reason why they're so far behind things.

Small corpo are more lax and indies basically can do w/e they want. A lot of the accessories and assets are made by random small artists. They can easily be obtained for free or with a small fee from indies/small corpo. However, big corpo vtubers have go through more red tape when they want to get these assets. They have to get approvals from management and then the corpo has to background check and make a decision whether they want to associate with these artists and use the assets. The process is so long that the big corpo vtubers don't bother with this since management have a shit load of other backlog of other things to deal with.
