They can force JPs to work even if they don't stream with all of the studio stuff they do, unlike ENs. And when she does decide to stream, she still makes them a bunch of money. There is zero reason to fire her and take the whining that would come with it. As it is, she's the one getting antis for not streaming, they make money from her and she still looks bad from it, the company is winning.

Her earnings are relatively impressive per stream but if you have to factor in that she's been doing this for over 3 years at this point so it isn't that impressive. Unless she maintains a high membership even with the lack of streams, then most earn more than her annual average earnings just streaming more.

It's not like she's stealing someone else's spot, no one else will join Hololive Gen 2 and use her model if she quits. Her manager probably handles a couple more girls as well. It costs them literally nothing to keep her.
I'm also pretty sure she has decent membership numbers, if people are still compelled to throw her red supas and buy her merch, why would they cancel such a cheap subscription? They definitely want to be able to spam her emotes on the rare stream.

People like the character and her merch still sells like hotcakes. At this point she's more like a voice actor who plays a character every so often than she is an actual vtuber. Still very profitable for Cover so there's no reason to change anything.

You think it's the same thing but it isn't. Part of the reason probationary contracts are used is to gauge an employee before permanently hiring them, so you can avoid the hassle of actually firing them. Firing people in any real company is fucking difficult and can result in lawsuits (see: Rushia).
Anon is saying that no vtuber was fired for not streaming. If he's talking about Hololive then this is a fact, because it has not happened. Instead you have the probationary contract. Sana was explicitly not fired thanks to the probationary contract. To the average retard it will look like the same thing, so please don't be the average retard.
Of course I didn't read Sana's contract but that's simply how contracts work so you can infer hers was something along those lines.
