A lot of the black anime fans I know seem to loathe vtubers. Probably because the culture discourages simping - I mean, they were the ones who invented the phrase in the first place.

That being said, I know a few actual black vtubers, they just tend to stay quiet about it. Noir is probably black though, honestly, I can only imagine his voice coming out of a black nerd.

The main selling point of female vtuber is cute girl doing cute thing. The most suitable background to fill this role are asian & white, imo. Demand for cute girls are filled with white & asian majority, too. Can you imagine an arab, indian, or black girl doing cute things? Sure, they can. But it's not natural for them, imo.
Black girls & guys can be a cool vtuber tho, at least they need to find their own persona beside doing cute things.
