I would rather have 1 active viewer that stays the whole stream, than 5 who pop in and out through it.
It's Monday, so I'm allowed a little menhera as a treat, but if someone's actively sticking around the whole time then they either like my content, or like me despite my content. If someone's only around for 30 minutes or so then it feels like they're just fulfilling an obligation. I get massive brainworms and imposted syndrome about how I'm actually shockingly bad at everything anyway.

I really dislike getting called out for existing in a chat. Somewhat recently talked to a chuuba whose streams I enjoy and this topic came up. I think they talked to their mods about not doing that for me anymore because it's been happening way less.

I never really got vtubers seeing each other as coworkers.
There aren't any requirements for being a vtuber, just a png and a few minutes of setting up OBS.
They have just as much in common with any given streamer or content creator as with other vtubers. And hell, most viewers are content creators themselves in some capacity whether its art or commentary.
