If you're a brotuber, what are the reasons you would apply for this new NijiEN "male gamers" wave rather than wait for the next HomoEN gen, given that NijiEN so far has built up an image of their males as a predominantly non-"gamer" group while that seems to be a bit more prevalent with Tempus? I do think there's still space for a brotuber gamer in NijiEN but if you stick to only being a brotuber there you're basically wasting all of the NijiEN Luxiem audience which is a lot of potential money for less effort as long as you throw them a bone. Maybe the strategy would be to pander to fans of the girls like Selen and go from there. Either way I think you need to build your separate box apart from the Luxiem trickle down system, maybe do a lot of outreach on twitch.
Also note that Tempus isn't really a gamer group yet either, really need to see if Regis and Axel will lean more into that. The strongest Tempus member right now is a zatsudan specialist.

This assertion is fundamentally flawed since Cover actually made auditions open permanently now for all branches I believe. It's not a matter of waiting, but to apply and hope to get selected now. From there, the question would become: "Would you accept recruitment into NijiEN if it came before Hololive Productions if you wish carve your path as a brotuber?"

The answer to that question should nominally be 'no' unless you were actually part of the LGBT community, because the environment in NijiEN is biased towards not being "family friendly". The only other reason to take it is if you're legit a Nijifag and you wanted a shot to meet the livers.

The flip side is that it's much harder to get into Hololive because they release people at a much slower rate, even if Holostars is a weaker brand. Even if I'm a bottom feeder 4view at Niji that's probably far more than what I'm making before. So it depends on if you think you're actually good enough to make it past Cover's scouting process.
