It's not doing poorly. There are things you have to consider:
1. She "beat" it an hour and thirty in and proceeded to keep going to get another ending. There isn't going to be too much churn for a 2nd playthrough and this shows on the graph where she stayed at a super consistent 19k
2. A big portion of the VOD was SC reading, which again, is not something people come visit for.

And the biggest of them all is that horror historically has not done well for VODs for many holos, and that's likely because:
1. Horror is a genre that many don't want to tune into because they don't have the heart to be scared themselves
2. The people watching are already invested anyways, and are not tuning in and out of stream

When you factor all those together, you'd understand that it's not really doin all that poorly. Now, I will say that it does seem like she got thrown out of the algo in some ways because her likes have been DROPPED IMMENSELY these past 2 streams of hers, like they're super uncharacteristic of her normal streams, but as for the VOD itself, it's kind of expected to be somewhere between 300-350k by 24 hours, just based off everything we've seen out of horror streams these past few months

No, it's not even that. In the US, we have like 3x Japan's population, but the damn country is so large and everything is so spread out, that it makes any manner of congregation for any kind of semi-famous group a small time affair a lot of the time. It's that sheer size that basically impedes the growth of subculture outside of the internet. Japan's got it easy with like 2/3 of the country being a train ride away from Tokyo, which makes things like this feel kind of larger than life. Imagine if you could, say get the entire North East Corridor (Washington DC - Boston, about 60 million people) to have the ability to cheaply gather in, say... Philly, all in less than 90 minutes from the time you leave door of your home, all to partake in subculture events. Suddenly, what could be considered "small time" events could became larger than life gatherings that will both give a boost to local consumption, thus improving the perception of said subculture and increasing the ability for people to both meet and network.

It may end up making even women more favorably receptive of such events, because they don't really have to struggle against a society that more or less shuns anything they perceive as foreign to them (women kinda do have it hard when it comes to the social perception angle, even if they're less accountable to their bullshit).
