I swear this thread happened yesterday. I remember the general consensus being that the general audience of vtubers don’t have the time to watch anime anymore, though they had in the past. Manga is fair game though.

Anyway, I think the last anime I watched without skimming to the fappable content Redo of Healer was MMO Junkie. I’m so done with high school tropes nowadays.

Anime is and always was trash, 99% of it is rushed and unfinished adaptations serving as an advertisement for the almost always far superior source material
Not going to say with a straight face that vtubers are any better but an /a/fag of all people looking down on us is too ironic to ignore

You say they shouldnt copy paste and make art, while you want copy paste of some random scene or dialogue because you really liked it or w/e. Why do you want to hear some terrible singing of Mai Kadowaki in broken german? Is that "art" ?

Completely delusional and direspectful to industry to call exceptional work of composers, VAs, and expressive animation (definitely art) of likes of Yutaka Nakamura and Nozomu Abe just "factory work". You can be reductive like that towards most manga and lns and vns and call them factory work, after all its just mishmash of warriors tropes and stereotypes.
Again you have no reliable methodology whatsoever to distinguish any of these things, other than your own biases and preconceived notions.

Last time was like 5 years ago, since then I have only watched some Ghibli movies and other horror anime movies, I not a big fan of anime desu, but maybe if I don't get lazy I'm going to watch Overlord
