I'm not a Cover employee but I do have inside information. As many of you have been wondering what happened to Gura. The answer is she has been suspended from streaming and making public statements. I'm unsure of the effective date of suspension but it is for One week.

Now to answer why: You may think it's over the Stars and that would be only be vaguely right. The real reason is Insubordination. She went over Omega's head. There's been some speculating that cliques have formed, also half right. Fauna and Mumei follow Gura's lead and she felt it was bad business to interact with Stars. Omega couldn't force any of them to interact but was insanely angry at Gura for snubbing them. This is nothing new because Gura is near openly hostile to Omega for canceling her projects. I can't say what was canceled, I'm not privy to those exact details other than Omega is an obstruction to a lot of what talent want to do because it doesn't fit his "vision".

That brings us to what she did. Gura did the unthinkable and went over Omega's head. She has enough clout and cross branch connections to back door her projects through JP management. Umisea being an example. The Crunchyroll Expo was already booked too far in advance to pull her and honestly she wouldn't have been pulled from it regardless.
