At this point, I really do think it's too late to make any headway with the western market. More and more people are getting vaccinated and are returning to work. Interest in Chuubas have also stabilized as well. The only 2 ways I think that Nijisanji even makes a dent in the west is either:

(A) They hire a really BIG name (xqc, Ninja) whose brand power alone not only is enough to turn heads but also get people in western media actually talking so people get more familiarized with the Nijisanji brand. This option of course is not realistic since the chances of getting someone bigger than HER to switch to vtubing would be close to nil. And the other (B) is for cover to do a Yab so big that it would not only be indefensible by the fans but would also cause everyone to just quit them cold-turkey. This would have to be a 7th trumpet/Final Yab level incident and the closest they came to that was the Taiwan thing that they did get through.
