after the taco arc and her long breaks I kinda fell off of her and removed my membership, but I still watched and enjoyed her pokemon arc and kirby playthrough, albeit less enthusiastic than before

When Council first debuted, Sana was the one who I immediately was a fan of, since I really enjoyed her energy and personality. I watched a lot of her early streams, but as time went on and she streamed less, I mostly ended up watching her content via clips and vods.

So yeah, I'm sad to see her go, she has a lot of energy and sparkle that nobody else in EN really has, but at the same time the writing has been on the wall for a while now. So I'm not broken up, because at a certain point this has been a long time coming, but I'm still sad to see her leave nonetheless.

She might do a 10 hour pokemon stream and just kind of zone out and talk about what's happening on stream for the game etc, she never managed to open up as a person. They do eventually, or at least they should - remember, Gura was at first really shy/cagey in the first month or two on debut and people were annoyed with that but she eventually broke out and became more personable and less fake-feeling. Lore, as a general rule of thumb, IS fakeness. Omega wants fucking fakeness to dominate? He's a failure, he doesn't understand the first thing about this shit. Truly.

Sadly, I think Sana finally started to "get it" right at the end doing a bunch of collabs that shit just happens when you stream and hang with people and that becomes the new face of yourself as a streamer and you can drop the pretenses of needing to be a boxed-in character on a pedestal like they are trained to for debut.

I really appreciated that her original song was fully English, it irks me that the HoloEn talents usually release songs with practically full Japanese lyrics, so Sana's Astrogirl was a nice change of pace to be able to understand the song without captions.

Other than that and the sympathy I have for the health issues, as well as her grief over having lost a pet, I can recognize the unfortunate situation but it really doesn't bother me too much.

Never caught more that a single stream live before the announcement and one after. She wasn't my favorite member of council, but she wasn't my least favorite either. Though her lack of streams didn't allow for any growth or familiarity.
