Ever since she moved to Tokyo she's been constantly going out to hang out with her [friends] and work on projects requiring her to be present at the studio (like recording for her game, concert practices and so on). She may still be introverted/shy but she's definitely not a hikki. She's a young rich woman in her prime years so you can bet your ass she's living her life to the fullest. We'd be lucky to get half of her usual streaming schedule back but it will probably never happen.

That's part of the reason, but I think it's mostly that she grew to dislike streaming and dealing with trolls after that whole APEX incident that caused her to stop streaming regularly over a year ago. The mental health aspect was something she mentioned whenever asked about that. She doesn't want to do that stuff as much anymore, and honestly? She probably doesn't need to with how big Hololive is at this point.

I'm the anon you replied to. Aqua was one of my most viewed Holos back in 2019~early 2021. Unfortunately, times and people change. She used to like streaming games and interacting with fans back then, but being forced to do so now wouldn't bring that charm back. She'd be more uncomfortable and dodgy than anything if she had to do that regularly.
In doing what she does now, which is more like an IRL idol's job, she believes that she can be happy while keeping her fans happy. It's definitely working because her fans are dedicated.
Don't get me wrong though. As a stream watcher but a person who doesn't like the idol side of vtubers, I'm not happy about this one bit. All I can do is move on now that streams are no longer her priority.
