The good thing about Nijisanji is that there's such a glut of content from most of them, you don't have to participate in the fandom at all to enjoy the vtubers. Nijifags on /vt/ are mostly former stream-starved or bored holofags anyway. I mostly watch Elira and Enna out of NijiEN, but I find the others at worst inoffensive when my chosen two collab with them. Some, such as Fulgur, I've found to be good foils and really quite fun in group streams, contrary to /vt/'s views of them.
I was less than impressed by ILUNA, but something tells me I won't notice their existence much if I don't go looking for them. I was never a fan of Finana either, yet despite her being a wave 1 senpai I hardly ever see her while following my usual picks. Can't be bothered getting swept up into this board's endless hysteria anymore.

Millie and Enna are worth it. Enna might not be my favorite girl to watch, but she's still very enjoyable and easily the funniest NijiEN member period.
Millie is my second favorite girl after Pomu, she's the complete package - sweet, cute, funny, creative, consistent, hardworking. No one else in EN spoils her fans as much as she does.
Meanwhile Lazulight has Finana, which I think is the least egregious among the not popular ones.
Obsydia has either Petra or Rosemi depending on who you ask, but to me Petra started out kinda weak but grew into a really great streamer and it's refreshing to see someone so honest about who they are. She plays into kayfabe very little.
Meanwhile Rosemi started out great but is so bad nowadays.
