It might just be an average of 10 new images per day (good ones at least) in her art tag, which isn't enough to keep the thread active per day (each bump takes in average an hour, from page 1 to page 10, but it surprisingly is taking less time as time goes on).
I wish artists decided to choose Pixiv more, because the image doesn't get compressed as much compared to Twitter, at the cost of not being able to post them here because of the 4MB limit...

My Polka folder is the unofficial album, my favourite images (pic related) and stuff like HoloFes and VARK, any pictures I download off twitter to bump the thread land in the desktop and are deleted after posting if I don't REALLY like them

You can always put things in order in a lazy afternoon. Like most things you'll appreciate it down the line that you've done it now, since it will stack up over time.
You'll always find new ways to keep them organized but you should at least have a base-line for it instead of just having a full folder of randomly sorted Polka pictures.

Storing in general is just a way to preserve things you generally like. Since I like a lot of Polka art, I saved a lot of it and over time it got to this size.
But seriously anon, if you like a picture or anything, you definitively should save it. You never know when the plug will come out and you can't access things anymore. Keep things saved in a safe environment, this goes for a lot of internet stuff, not even exclusive for Polka. Go out and save that animation that you like, that website that you enjoy going back to or some chuuba's archive you watch while eating. Accounts get privated and websites get shutdown, but your trusty hard drive will always stay by your side. Remember to keep some backups though.
Also it's really nice every so often going through the images I've saved and being able to recognize how some of them where used in thumbnails or how you follow that artist, but that may just be me. I really enjoy looking at Polka art. Can't wait for the new Polka Sketch artbook!

Oh no, I take my archiving efforts seriously (for transparency, I'm >>29214622), just that pictures are something easy to come across, and they're already backed up by sites like boorus. Most of my archiving efforts have been inspired by forums dying or sites being taken offline, for example in the case of a guide for a specific low-tier character in a fighting game that was hosted on the eventhub forums (RIP) or a bunch of PDFs located on some person's webserver open for access (that thing could go down at any time).
If I had to sum it up I'd say pictures are "cheaper" than solid information. Sorry for the rambling

Some images are easier than others to find online, true, but that would only restrict you to a select already-popular images about Polka, which depending on your tastes it's not what you were after. Also maybe compression might take an effect or worse, the image getting deleted from the booru at request of the artist or similar. I can understand where you come from, don't get me wrong, but I still would prefer to keep my favorite images with me.

Finally I saw a Polka in a dream.
There was a lot of shit, but I only remembered one short fragment. I had to catch up with someone, and there was only an office chair next to me. Which I used, it was controlled by tilt, like these zoomer motorcycles or something like that.

I mean, it is unfortunate the timing given that Sana will graduate and Sora recently hit her 1M subscriber milestone, which would make her get squished between to big events but still, Polka deserves hitting it more than anyone in the entire vtubing industry in my eyes, she's been working hard for a long time and has been waiting for far too long to reach the milestone.
She may want to wait to do the endurance streams after Sana's graduation though, since she probably wants to play it safe. Don't worry too much though, she probably has everything planned out, you can definitively trust her intuition.

It's unfortunate that the gravity of the milestone will be lost on a large chunk of fans. It's easy to look at someone like Sora and see how big of a milestone it is, given that she started out 5 years ago, streaming to 13 people, and basically gave life to Hololive. But the majority of holofans are probably unaware of what Polka had to endure in her PL in order to keep her Vtuber dream alive, or how her popularity was only slightly behind Fubuki's before she had to start over from scratch. For most people it will just be another member hitting 1mil.

I think there's still a big percentage of current Polka fans who know her for her previous endeavors, but will keep quiet since they want to respect her privacy. I think it's very appropriate for her reaching the milestone very close to Sora though, pretty sad that Kizuna is out of the picture...

Yeah, I've thought of that as well. But she honestly seems way to happy to be doing what she's doing, and it's basically the perfect job for between her interests and letting her do most of it from home.
