For the most part, no. Overall its free entertainment, but I look at superchatting as tipping. I don't have an oshi, but I once watched Rosemi put a lot of effort trying to beat Genichiro in Sekiro. I tipped 5 bucks when she persevered and finally got through the first two phases. I think I also tipped Gura once for working hard on something on stream but it was a long time ago and I completely forgot what.

Basically, if the streamer works hard then I might tip to show my appreciation. I don't see it as an entrance/exit fee since thats just obligatory, which is retarded since its free.

They're clowns working to impress YOU. You shouldn't be trying to impress them with your money.

Smart man. Probably the best bang for your buck, honestly. You get a green name in their chat (more likely to read you). You can see their membership stuff. You can use their custom emotes. You're encouraging their content by continuing to be a member, basically saying they're on the right path. And if you don't like where their content is headed then you can cancel your membership to show your discontent (more effective if you've membered for a long time and are well known in chat, like you said).
