Tons of holos are active on multiple accounts. It's not now, she's been slowly reviving that persona since last year. I'd rather see some activity than none. And I think the chances of her leaving are next to none. If Mel came back after the shit she went through with her manager, if Miko came back after being gone for health resons for months, if Ayame didn't leave after being barely active for months then I don't think there's any real reason to think Shion yo will quit. She'll be back to her usual self once she gets her side project of the ground

It's scary to gamble your time and livelihood to an unstable industry where companies and talents pop up and die (recently Choco's friend) due to various reasons, be it personal or something behind NDA. hololive is less concerned of that but the threat is still real but not any time soon. maybe after 5-6 years

I want to trust her completely.

I have a rrat. You see Shion is not the only person in Hololive that is spreading their wings on their alts. Coco is in full swing on her alt. Matsuri has membership and now has a png for her alt. I know Coco is close with Shion and she might have opened about her streaming problems. I think Shion might have hit a wall motivation wise. If you're successful and young, it leaves you wanting to do more but if you're out of ideas you might get frustrated. She might be copying her peers and attempting to branch off to simply get herself motivated again. Making small steps in a smaller scale feels safer since she knows it won't exactly affect her main account. This is plausible for me because she posted her music vid on her alt and then posted a music vid on her main. She's clearly trying things out and pushed the better output on her main.

I think you can trust her. I think she's struggling but she's trying. I think it's healthy that she found a creative outlet. I have always wanted her to find a hobby and maybe her alt can be that for her.

That's plausible. This was just me digging deep into my worries, I mostly feel good about Shion's future in Hololive, it's just not without some concerns at the moment. Honestly, I think 2nd gen is preparing for a live show like the 1st gen concert coming up and that's why they've been so busy lately but can't tell us what they're doing. Like I said, I do wonder how much of her illness is the complete truth, but at the very least she has mentioned that she's been going to the hospital every once in a while, unrelated to her arm injury. I want to believe she's telling the truth and she's just in a less turbulent phase of her illness, since she mentioned it's unpredictable. She basically said "it's bad, it's chronic, and it makes my health very unpredictable, so I might not be able to stream consistently." If I had to guess, it's not related to her hearing issue, but I'm not a medical expert, maybe an issue with your ears can affect your overall health somehow.
