I honestly can't understand the reasoning behind not wanting male collabs. There are only two possibilities:
1. Your oshi will just do a fun collab with someone else and they both go their separate ways afterwards (This is fine isn't it? Everyone is happy)
2. Your oshi will fall in love with the male in the process (You will probably not even know if this is the case and even if you do find out, so what? None of these girls are virgins, their on-stream persona isn't entirely legitimate, many of them have boyfriends/husbands right now and they can form serious relationships with men without ever talking about them or putting them on stream. Literally everyone knows this. But these girls put on a cute anime avatar and steer clear of talking about their sex lives intentionally as a way of exploiting lonely men - but it's a mutual exchange. They're putting up an illusion; their fans buy into the illusion, because they want to believe a girl like them is real, even if they know in their heart they aren't. At least as long as they're active, yes, otherwise what we're doing here is these girls are admitting that they're exploiting lonely men out of their money, and that doesn't exactly sound ethical to me. However, I'd argue that it goes beyond that: the reason they give their oshi money is because they think they're giving money to a lonely, geeky loser like themselves. They think they're saving their own kin. If they have a guy in their lives, then they don't need their support; they don't even deserve their support.

That being said, I've been on the Internet for 24 years. I've made a ton of female friends. Many were even closer than friends. But I didn't fuck a single one of them and the idea that some men would be disgusted with one of those girls on the suspicion that I did do stuff with them makes me laugh. But like I said, it's the illusion that matters, not reality.
