The thing about the Vshojo girls is how close they've all become since coming together. Mousey and Nyanners have both talked about how absolutely anxious they were about meeting each other because they were both big fans of each other's work but though of themselves as lame but they hit it off so well that their chemistry together is easily the best duo in the group.

Though really it is Mouse that might be the lynchpin of this. She's good friends with all of them except for maybe Froot and Hime. It'll be hard to get a strong friendship going with either due to time zone differences but when Froot has played with the other girls she fits in just fine.

I would agree with that assessment and I would state that this version of Melody was something nobody saw half a year ago so even with her defense mechanisms kicking in she's still being actually confronted with genuine affection and is slowly opening up a bit at least to Mouse. She generally doesn't take praise very well to begin with and actual friendly love is another level entirely. They all have self-esteem issues in some form (Nyanners always questions herself; Silver always worries she'll be forgotten if she ever takes a week off; and so forth) including Mousey but Mousey has one advantage the others don't: a legit sense of seizing each day because she's actually facing her own mortality. It is possible they only wanted 7 people but there's also a possibility that Veibae just didn't want to join the agency. Nothing she's said on stream or in collabs with the others seems to indicate she has any thoughts on the subject other than being happy for her friends. She did say on stream once that she's really terrible with people and has massive social anxiety so maybe she thought joining Vshojo would be a mistake for her because she was worried they were going to be a HL clone where she'd have to do more interaction with a bigger audience and people she didn't know. Hard to say.

I'm curious where VS is going to go from here. They just now finally have the full roster debuted and seem to be working on the marketing part of things to get exposure and sponsorships so I don't think they're going to try to add members right now. I wonder if the next additions will be people that the VShojos kind of find along the way. Haruka makes sense because she used to do stuff with Nyanners and routinely is active in chats with other members like Zen and Silvervale. Incorporating the entire "Cream Pis" group might work but that requires them to want to join. As far as I know the only ones who were friends before Vshojo was in the planning stages was Mouse and Zen and they both did some stuff with Silver but none of them had done anything with Nyanners, Sydsnap, Melody, or BSApricot (tho the last one was known for her art by most of them). Melody was a fresh face who didn't start collabing with the others until after Vshojo's planning stages began and it was mostly Mel Silver and Mousey who began collabing in late summer eventually leading to Lewdcast and then they collabed with Nyanners to start getting familiar with each other. After giving them some time to talk and get to know each other the first five active VShojo members officially announced VShojo in late November and Froot debuted a few days later.

So they really weren't big time Twitch pals before Vshojo was conceived. Many of them came together as a result of Vshojo and are now really good friends. I do not know when Sydsnap was invited because I'm fairly sure VShojo began the planning stages back in Spring (it takes a while to plan all this shit out and start a business after all and the girls all talk about how long they've had to keep the secret) and Syndsnap did that video in July so I don't know if she was originally a target until someone saw that and said "holy shit wouldn't that be a riot".

Anyway Gunrun definitely wanted to target people who either had followings or were talented or both to help build the base. So far it has shown to be a good idea. The amount of Twitch followers that each of the girls have gained from VShojo (other than Melody) is an indication that the plan worked. Now what do they do going forward.

At most they told her that there would be some surprising events but you can't really tell people that DDLC is a fucking trainwreck of depression and darkness or it ruins the fun of being bushwacked. They probably made the wrong decision in letting her experience the real thing but that's not something you can decide for someone else until you know how it'll effect them.

However this was a big wakeup for Mousey and Silver who have been very protective of Mel ever since. Keep in mind that this collab was done over the course of a couple of months and around this time (July) is probably when some of the DigiTravX shit was going on so Mel might not have been in the best headspace to begin with. Still looking back on this and then looking at Mel's list of fears and phobias she stated during the NYD Q&A collab and that she really can't handle scary things (movies and games) like even Gremlins would freak her out I think it just makes sense that Mel is a very broken bird.

It's better for both the host and the guest to play off a guest's awkward moment as hilarious to let them recover gracefully, which Noble is very good at. He might not have realized something was much worse than he though on the other end of that line, since Mel was mumbling awkwardly which she often does, too. As soon as he realizes something's seriously wrong he shuts it down.

Nobody was clearly being bored with the rides. If anything they were all not only having fun together but having a lot of issues even staying on the rides due to conflicts. That entire section where Silvervale is... for some reason... rotating on her own axial plane from the rest of the girls while riding the ferris wheel is pretty damn hilarious. But they're all highly entertained by everything going on and happy to be together.

It was probably also that Nyanners and Silvervale were actually using VR equipment which was making them sick. Nyanners in particular kept talking about needing to throw up. Bunny was also using that equipment but didn't have any issues.
