The big orgs put in an investment and they expect a solid return on that.

With riggers, they have a contract with the company to continually keep them employed, it's not freelance, japan has a lot of workplace security for their art fields unlike places like america who just freelance.

Onto managers, office workers in general cost money anon.
You're looking at possibly $25,000-40,000 a year, depending on their roles in the company.
Add in that, Sana's only income was from superchats, which means that youtube takes 30% of that revenue, then it's taxed by japan because the income goes to covercorp first, then it's distributed to all of the talent.
Kson said she was receiving only about half of the money people donated in superchats, Mori, because she has to pay taxes to America as well, was only receiving around 20% of that income.

Lastly, everyone in the company receives sick pay and vacation pay, which is why the JP girls treated is as a big deal to go on it, they are using everyone elses money to relax and rest up and it makes them feel guilty.

I don't really watch her, out of all holo EN she's probably the one I least care about graduating, but still, it's a shame.
From what we've seen I assume the reason is her roommate's workload + health issues that just don't leave her much time and energy for this. At least it's a graduation at her own request, but it's a shame either way.
