I did a schedule like that when I worked a swing shift years ago. It sucked and I hated anything and anyone who forced me to do shit before 1PM. It was completely manageable though.
Bitching that Kiara forces herself into a swing shift is pointless to begin with, but in this case it doesn't really make sense. DHL and whatever services won't accommodate her, and doctors are notoriously shitty with afternoon appointments. That's the trade off for getting up later. But she can always set alarms earlier to deal with whatever when needed.
