Kson was recruited for the vshoujo over a year ago, during the graduation she was already their agent on a mission to bring to her new corpo as many holo girls as possible.

Rushia was persuaded by promises of monetary benefits, she orchestrated her's drama since the very beginning in order to break contract and join vshojo without waiting for an year.

Angel avatar was prepared for Kanata, but she hesitated for too long so it was given to Rushia instead. Kanata still going to join Kson and Mike at a later date, she inhaled kson's poison for too long to get of the hook

Half of vshoujo promotion money was spent on shilling here, the other half was stolen.

All of it happened in accordance with Melody's master-plan.

The difference is Kson lost most of her relevance (aka she lost something she already had) while Cover lost the possibility of growing in one of the biggest markets, which is now dominated by anykara. It's harder to measure since it's a loss of opportunity rather than a straight loss, but it was very big.
