This thread is for discussions relating to the board itself, moderation, general threads etc.

I made this thread because lately the moderation has been more chaotic than usual, jannys are biased in what posts they report and even on-topic posts are being pruned(maybe because mods are more ban happy here)

I want to know where the new janny(s) came from more than anything, it's clearly someone new and applications haven't been opened in over 6 months so either they brought in people from other boards or an existing janny got his friends accepted without needing to apply

Why increase the captcha?
Why delete known generals (uoh, become, meat) but let low quality threads (discuss, why did she do it, the dust settles) remain?
Why let off-topics remain?

they might be weird or not to all peoples taste but /ag/, /become/, /meat/, /ringo/, /hag/ and /nasfaqg/ have never hurt anyone and they interact with vtubers in ways that is unique to them and even creates some original content related to their vtubers that would nto exist otherwise

they also can be very fun visits on occassion

Yes, and instead of clearing up the bait threads, they delete mainstays like Watermelon or Architecture so that... so that we have more room for more bait threads?
I can understand the benefit of cleaning up the catalog, but the fifteenth thread of the day that just says "Apologize" without a specific topic, and only gets 10 replies, seems equally low value as the fetish threads, but only one is allowed.

As for Watamelon threads, I have never participated in them, but they're better OC than the majority of the board, so I can only respect them. Especially compared to yet another thread of "Now that the dust is settled, who was in the wrong?"
