I used to be a huge Goslingfag for Ame back in autumn, then shit hit the fan and I hated her because I felt betrayed by someone I loved a lot. Although I already was following Gura and liked her content, this made me turn into a massive Chumbud because she was all I had left to enjoy in HoloEN. Then the inevitable collabs with Ame happened, I was pissed and called Ame a whore, deleted my Ame folder and lashed at my fellow teamates as well, I couldn't stand the thought that someone like her was becoming Gura's best friend but it happened anyway and thanks to that Ame skyrocketed in popularity, I tried to pretend she didn't exist so I could keep enjoying Gura but then things happened in my life and I couldn't follow hololive anymore, this was before december.

Last week I managed to get back into hololive and I started catching up with Gura's content until today I finally caught up to the inevitable ringfit yab. I used to think that if the same that happened with Ame were to happen with Gura I'd probably off myself but maybe because Ame's yab made me duller, I was able to avoid another crisis.

I've to apologize to you teamates for calling you names and for calling Ame a whore for something that was already in the past for her, in Gura's case it's probably worse because I cannot stop thinking that when she cried during her cover of The Moon Song she was most likely thinking about... that. She hasn't gotten over it, unlike Ame.

I had a feeling that Ame was trying to save the Goslings in the yab threads because she's an hardcore hololive fan and she knows how the fans of a chuuba feel, she knows about the loneliness and the escapism but I was too blinded by hatred to care.

There is nothing I can do to change the past, the past from a long time ago nor the past from half a year ago. I realize that the Goslings are a small percentage of the hololive fans and that no chuuba is going to ever be my ideal chuuba, I tried to redeem my lost years escaping into hololive willingly seeing GFEs where there could have never been one, I was forcing my delusions onto Ame and other chuubas I followed but this hobby was probably never meant for people like me.

I'm calling it quits teamates, I'm deleting my youtube accounts and the holo/vt folder today. I had low pressure all day and I've been feeling too dizzy it took me an hour to come up with the right words for this post, I should take a nap. This is last time I'm using this board or /jp/. I don't feel like pulling a sudoku, this week I'm just going to enlist in my shithole's military, I've got only a year left before I'm too old for applying and since I've got nothing worth caring for in life anymore, I think it will be a refreshing change of pace.

Ame's definitely a newer anime fan. Madoka is a decade old at this point, so she was pretty young at the height of its popularity. She likely wasn't in the anime scene, or at least not that intensely, so I'm not terribly surprised she missed out on it. But given her current likes and some of her favorite series, it is pretty easy to spot red flags in Madoka.

It started airing in 1999, but I only started watching and reading the manga this year. Same. I think she feels more confident when there are backing vocals in the song, rather than a regular karaoke track. That way all the focus isn't just on her. It's also how you would normally sing songs to yourself, it feels more natural because you're singing over the top of the original vocals. I feel that she could probably do pretty good in an official duet.

The military is actually not a bad choice, I did the mandatory year service then stayed for the regular 2 years service, after that I tried the 5 years service that allows you to join the special ops but I failed the psychotechnics exam for a stupid mistake. Still, I was sent home with experience and papers that later allowed me to take on higher paying armed jobs, before the corona bullshit I used to make almost 4k a month patrolling cargo ships, now there aren't many opportunities in this sector anymore but I've been working as personal trainer, the income is not as good as before but I can still pay the bills and the food so I don't really care, this quarantine should end in 2 years max anyway. Let me get this straight, Ame is in a depression cycle since december.
First because of burnout and being reminded of someone's death in december, then the problems with her ISP and PC that were straight up demoralizing for a big streamer.
Now, lets forget the moving arc and the allergy part, those were not big problems, what actually makes her frustrated is not being able to deliver what she wants with the quality she wants. It was clear in this stream she feels fine physically already, its her mind.
These days, she watches her genmates stream a lot more, Gura playing games for 5 hours straight, Kiara doing 9 hours streams, Mori going for a long time despite all the stuff she does on the side, Ina keeping up a perfect consistency; and on top of that they are making music, drawing, doing other projects.
Ame is an amazing streamer she makes even shitty games interesting, but tonights karaoke made it clear she's frustrated she thinks this is all she can offer. Trying to hide tears after not being able to sing along with Kiara hit me pretty hard, and I relate to her problems, but at the end of the day, its all on her.
She's an adult, but she's a big baby, she never really had responsibilities before Hololive. But her desire to improve is 100% genuine and you can feel she's very grateful to her fanbase, but if she truly wants to improve, not talking about karaoke, but in general, she'll need to change her mindset and take that step alone.
We can only be supportive and hope she feels more confident about her skills eventually.

There's also no sense of pacing and timing, because on one page she says she's not letting him cum, and on the next page she immediately changes her mind.
