How did Kiara's attitude grew on you guys? Is there a specific stream where she was able to convey her feelings properly without sounding so full or blatantly shilling herself? Sell her to me, I've been trying to like her since she debuted but I only get my oshiis through collabs.

She's just as unbearable as Bae in collabs and it feels like a waste of time to watch her try and up everyone else. I can't enjoy anything but I can't bring myself to hate them either. They're literally the only two EN with the best streamer etiquette and I wish my oshii (Gura, Moom, Kronii) is even close but they're not.

I dunno, I think this place just set ridiculous expectations while gradually distorting reality like an echochamber, I didn't find there was anything unreasonable about what she said (she went to Ame's place to record her live, other Holos showed up because they wanted to visit/do roommate shit, then everything about recording her live got super scuffed and stressful).
My only complaint would be that the first time they met wasn't even a proper off-collab they took the time to organize and god knows how long before they give us that, but... that's happening next week.

Kiara is the best english speaking vtuber bar none. Others may beat her at certain aspects, but as an overall package she's the real deal. She's funny without relying on being a lolrandom person or blurting out memes every few seconds, she's relatable, she can read the mood and change her attitude when needed, she tries her best at creating entertaining content and fills dead air as much as possible, she doesn't need her content to carry her, rather she carries somewhat dull content, she can easily swap between her roleplay and her "real" persona, she can connect with any collab partner rather easily, she's ambitious and doesn't sit on her laurels, she perfectly understands the company she's in and has no problems with adapting to japanese customs when needed, she always makes sure to be as transparent as possible, but without directly throwing others under the bus, she has multiple talents that she uses frequently and creatively and she puts out a respectable amount of content barring the past month where she notified everyone well ahead that until her birthday she'll put regular content creation on the backburner.
If the price for that is to see her trip up from time to time with a poorly worded sentence which can be interpreted in a not so positive way, I'll gladly take that. Also she only seems obnoxious compared to her reclusive peers who have a lot of work to do on their presence because Lord knows they lack in a lot of the aforementioned things.

I would like to add to your comment that the times she trips up in collabs that everyone seem to think is her default is when she is in a big collab with her genmates and they all go quiet because of autism. Her one-on-one collabs are probably some of the best around since she adapts incredibly quick to whoever she collabs with.

It was hard to watch her repeatedly showing herself as a victim of her circumstances (and killing the mood of her streams for me). But she stopped that and started to be more of an example for the others when someone had to help Council out.

You know, I think most people are correct when they assume Kiara was predestined to be a shallow bitch, but in my opinion she luckily never became one.
Kiara isn't the brightest and Kiaras hunger for attention is therefore plain to see and not subtle at all. However, she never gave me the feeling that she doesn't have her heart at the right spot.
She tries so hard to earn her stay and place in the world. She's always going all out for her identity as an entertainer, yet she always plays fair.
Imagine starting with a shallow preteen who has no taste for the finer nuances of life and is obsessed with the aesthetics of shallow, girly success and fame.
Then she never gets recognition except for bullying and smearing during her teenage years.
Then she was groomed as a teenage idol and was abused by the dirty underbelt of the craft, she got ruthless online hate as a cosplayer and streamer, and new haters turned up even after she completely discarded her old identity and decided to become someone new.
Imagine you were denied your desire for being loved and appreciated every step on the way.
But despite all this, she's still a trusting happy-go-lucky hen who's always excited to make new friends. It's like she knows how rotten people can be but still chooses to experience relationships as someone naive.
Others would have turned misanthrope like Mori or borderline sociopathic , and i couldn't blame them for it.

Now just not becoming bitter in the face of adversary diametrically opposed to your Id's desires does not make you a good person, just a tough cookie.
But it's endearing to see how she still grows and hasn't stopped developing her wisdom.
