The moment I realized I was numberfagging, I unsubbed over half of them. I'm mainly subbed to hollow now, but I don't sub until after a few streams.

No reason for me to not subscribe to all of them. Every once in a while I watch something random and usually enjoy it. Rarely have time to catch a stream so its just nice to have something to watch on breaks and stuff. my youtube subscription feed is a fucking mess but at least there's always something pertaining to my interests without using recommendations

I've been throwing subs out to every other vtuber that caught my fancy for like 5 years now and it's mostly a self-maintained system since at this point a lot of them have graduated.

I use holodex to switch between corpos to get an overview. It is cleaner that way and I dont chat in streams anyway.

I was subbed to everyone before haachama's infinite hiatus.
I never really watched anyone else but I was subbed to them all, and once it happened and I started seeing all the clips and all the live streams on my feed I started to seethe, to the point where I unsubbed from them all except Gen 1 and sora, and during that time I made a whole new account just to get away from all the chuuba stuff

I honestly wouldn't want to keep up with someone who streams infrequently, as it shows they don't have the motivation and their streams won't be of particularly good quality. The thing to do is find one girl who really puts the effort in and stick with her and nobody else, because she's all you need. I have someone who fills that need already, and a backup just in case something goes wrong.

I think it was some months after the Holocaust. I realized I had stopped watching most Holos completely and did a proper cleanup. After that I've been pruning my sub list occasionally.
