The only way for her to get over her muh graphics autism (and it's not even graphicsfagging in the traditional ultra realistic high fidelity sense, but rather mostly just muh cute anime visuals etc.) is if the game has some sort of hook or gimmick that is more interesting and overcomes her instinctual insistence of her narrow taste range.
Your best bet for that "gimmick" has historically been if Kiara has some sort of nostalgia connection to the game, like for example Mamatori or other family have played /recommended it in the past. Then she is more open to playing something she wouldn't normally touch

As for all this gay ass Mori shit, I don't hate Mori, but I don't really like her all that much either. I think there are people who are either stuck in Takamori hell forever and don't want to leave, or people reminicent for the couple of good collabs they had together way back when. Fashion collab more recently was great, but other than that their collabs have been pretty meh.

I'm not worried too much. Kiara's relatively chilled response (compared to her enthusiasm for potential visits of the other girls) to Mori springing her self-invitation on her on stream tells she's not putting Mori on a pedestal anymore and is rather over on being emotionally dependant as her only "friend" anymore.

Now sure, I'm not saying she "hates" her, far from it, she's surely happy that she gets a visit from someone at least, after all others fell through, and they'll have a nice time or whatever, I'm just saying Kiara has grown and knows better what behavior to expect from Mori by now and how to deal with it (i.e. not getting too deeply emotionally invested, just take it as it is and not how you wish it would be). Plus they both have their own separate circles of people nowadays they mostly hang out with and vibe better. Ironically, that frees them up to have better, more unforced interactions with each other, because they don't have to rely on each other so much anymore (and be invariably disappointed because of incompatibilities)

The whole thing started anyway because Mori was just "in the area", travelling for rm shit, so she invited herself over for an added stop, so it was just a convenient afterthought add-on, more or less, and not like she cares enough to only visit Kiara for Kiara's sake alone if no convenient rm stuff were happening at the same time.

So they'll have their meeting, do one or two collab streams, and then go back to not really interacting for a while anymore and mostly just hanging out with their true friends anyway, just like before. It certainly won't be the start of any new serious "takamori" arc, because the interest and motivation from any of the two to play up any serious "shipping" angle isn't there anymore and not coming back (Mori doesn't do yuriships anyway, and Kiara has found much better partners for her ships who actually reciprocate anyway), despite some comachama schizos in the audience trying to force their imaginary bullshit again.

I'm a mic-schizo: The GoXLR itself was never the real problem, it can be set up to sound good if you just have a little technical acumen or even just interest to dial in the correct settings. Which Kiara doesn't have, she just copied Ame's settings, went "meh whatever, sounds fine enough...", and there's not enough critical pressure from the fanbase to convince her otherwise.

The actual problem is that her gain is too high and her compressor is too aggressive, plus most importantly that she's usually sitting way too close to the mic, almost eating it up (see her comments about getting cat hairs from the mic in her mouth and vice versa, immediate red flag that she's doing things wrong), that's where the overly crispy cackling sound comes from and why some of her word beginnings (like words with "a") sound so harsh.

A simple low-tech fix that would remedy much of these issues immediately is if she simply started using a pop-filter in front of the mic. It would reduce the harsh plosives and most importantly would force her to observe some distance to the mic so her gain is not always in the red.

It's not even so much the settings, but the most basic thing: simple distance from the mic.
Case in point - she sounds so much better and less harsh in this stream, and the simple reason for that is that she's most likely not using her usual fucked up streaming setup position where she's hunched over her desk and being so close to her mic that her mouth is already touching it.
She's definetly sitting further away (in order to make space for Mori who's next to her and that she can also be picked up by the mic - it's not perfectly centered, Mori still sounds more distant, but at least Kiara is also sitting further away than usual) and it does wonders for taking the crispy harshness off her usual sound.
She'd only need to continue this distance for her normal streams also, and at least 50%+ of my complaints about her usual sound would solve itself with this one simple fix.

Always remember how hard Kiara had to carry early Myth collabs with Gura being shy, Ame preferring to watch, Ina being on the quieter side by default and Mori.
To this day she is still surprised how easy Japanese collabs are when the other participants are also actual entertainers.
At least one-on-one all Myth girls are at least decent with Kiara by now. TakoTori is god tier, SameTori has a great dynamic but is rare, AmeTori is cute but super held back by game choice.

The western fanbase for the longest time only had the few takamori offcollabs to eat, because everyone else was/is scattered all over the globe (before council came and initiated the first other non-takamori offcollabs), so their comparative sample size is obviously very small, so they overrated what little they had and told themselves it was better than it really was because it was the only game in town, and admitting it was only mid at best would be like admitting defeat
