i have unironically been seeing a therapist for ptsd i got after waking up during surgery. i've been learning coping techniques to deal with reoccurring nightmares. in my nightmares i wake up and feel phantom nasogastric tubing in my throat. sometimes i will wake up in a panic thinking i'm suffocating and scratch my face up trying to pull imaginary tubes out. i stay up late posting here because sometimes i'm afraid to go to sleep. sometimes i fall asleep watching my oshi and that helps.
