I've been a Haaton from the start. Ask me about any part of Haato's history and I'd be able to comment about it.
Haato was always low in terms of viewers. Did she have incline arcs? For sure, but those where the same incline arcs that people will say alienated viewers or generated fake fans.
Haato was never a powerhouse. You can either argue that she should have tried harder to retain the fans she gets with each arc, but Haato has always been on the about riding the waves as different story arcs come to her.

Something to keep in mind, Haato/Haachama wasn't always a wild success. Her entire career in Hololive is shaped like a Bell curve with the apex being late 2020/early 2021. She was too boring as Haato early on and of late she has shooting herself in the foot with her antics. This, the only reason people think haachama is a powerhouse is because her biggest incline arcs came one after the other, that would be the emergence of haachama as a slow beginning, into the chink out and finally into the schizo arc.
None of those were going to be long lived anyway and if you look into mid 2020 you'd see she's getting about the same numbers she is getting nowadays.
Another attribute is YouTube itself with the big algorithm change back in 2020 too.
There's no need to really waste anyone's breath here since there was a similar thread a couple of days ago where someone posted a proper analysis of haachama's numbers from December 2021 till I think mid March 2022? Haachama does not give a shit about those people. She's an artist. She plays a character, she does a skit.
