I know he did a few streams as a joke vtuber but I'm honestly wondering if he started on a new channel and just told his fanbase "yeah I'm gonna be a vtuber on x channel" how popular would he be once pewdiepie doing vtubing novelty wears off. Could he pull 5-10k viewers per stream months after starting? Some of the most popular vtubers are those who have strong reactions to something (Marine, Pekora, Rushia etc.) so I figured if he was the old pewdiepie people would watch him as a brotuber.

I'd honestly love to see how many big name IRL streamers could transition to vtubers and be successful. I don't mean doing it the cheap way a few have where they just announce what they're doing and carry the viewers over. I mean a true fresh start, don't tell anyone including their friends. That's the thing though, like you said, the only reason why he doesn't upload more is because of the amount of editing and animation he feels like he needs to do to make his videos really good. If he becomes a vtuber that doesn't really become necessary anymore because their bread and butter is streams which are much more improv (and shorts if you want to game the algorithm.) So he could put his creative talents which would have gone to editing into making and executing the best stream ideas possible, while occasionally releasing a video in his usual style. Couple that with

>skilled at fun narration that also sounds well spoken
>deep knowledge of internet culture
>massive tolerance for cringe
>presumably knows how to handle women because he has a significant other
and I could easily see him being a Vox killer, especially if he goes the pandering route
