The general rule of thumb is Twitch if your content is primarily based on livestreaming and YouTube if your content is primarily pre-recorded and edited.

>Do you think there's an audience for X, Y, Z content?
First, ask yourself if you would watch a streamer of your skill and experience. Second, do a check on social media and look to see if other streamers are already creating similar content. Don't limit yourself to vtubers, include traditional real life streamers to scope out a potential audience.

I obviously don't have the best perspective on this since I am myself an American, but I think you would be best served trying to cater to your own region first and foremost.
I'm assuming you primarily stream in English, but have you considered streaming in French, German, Italian, whatever it is that you might speak? Or at least doing the occasional stream that caters to your home timezone, even if it's in English? You gotta sleep healthily no matter what's going on in your content creation ambitions.

/asp/ies, when would you say is the best time to send my audition to Holo? I've been streaming for about 6 months or so on Twitch and got a few stuff uploaded to Youtube, but my numbers are still very small (stream has about 15-20 CCV with about 5 people active on chat, my YT channel hasn't reached 1k subs though), so I'm not sure if I should wait longer and get a bigger portfolio or shoot my shot now.

Ah, forgive me. I don't know if I can really speak to that in all honesty, since nearly all of the YouTube content with regards to vtubers that I seek out on YouTube is just clips or highlights from streams.
But as for just regular YouTube content? I like highly edited reviews and editorial stuff. "Video essays," as the kids call them these days. I'm not sure that the algorithm would be likely to feed me stuff with a vtuber doing that in particular, probably due in no small part to my demographic's bias against "rantsonas" for the longest time, but I really don't think a vtuber doing that kind of content would necessarily be a turnoff for me. Just not what I would primarily be looking for, if that makes sense.

I stream as far outside of US timezones as you can imagine (2AM-6AMish for most of the USA) and my viewer stats still lean around 50% Americans.

You can pick up the night owls, the ones awake at ungodly hours cause they lack a sleep schedule, night-shifters, and the ones catching a stream before they commute to work or school.

As long as you stream in English, you're likely to have a majority of burgerland viewers, regardless of what timezone you aim at. It's just the nature of twitch.

(My advice is to just be consistent with when you stream.)

After browsing several vtubers, I have come to the conclusion that you can get to 50 ccv easily in a couple of months at most by barely covering the basics and actually having a schedule (and being female). A year of that and you get to 3-view status. From there it seems to require actual charisma or talent and better production value.

Maybe, but the ones that are sitting at 50 ccv and have only been doing it for a couple of months are mostly ones with a very basic setup, females AND have a schedule. Those that go even a lil bit beyond that approach 100 ccv even before the year mark sometimes, although they seem to stay there only if they improve (good model, better chat, banter, interesting streaing concepts or topics, attractive demeanor/charisma, ect.).

usually in /a/ sings or /v/ musicals submissions are done by email but you could also dump your vocaroo in the thread to encourage others to post their vocaroos too and make the thread more fun.
There's usually no hard limit on how many tracks per person but I'd suggest just switch up between your meme and your serious singing in one track, say 1st verse is high pitched and 2nd verse is low pitched, etc
