It still surprises me. No large announcement about their nationality, which, when thought about, actually makes sense, but they ask about things giving away an ignorance expected of someone non native to English. I haven't spotted Japanese people much if ever on other boards where flags are disabled.
Is this the equivalent of an American posting on a Japanese forum for discussion of American politics?
What is their end game?
Can I confidently assert I am Japanese and confidently post shitty attempts at Japanese to get free corrections from actual Japanese people who dislike seeing such confidence in something they know as wrong?
Do they understand everything?
Heareth, doth those gents und'rstand this s'rt of cankered tum'r of wretch'd english spill'd ov'r their screens with most wondrous v'rbosity, spill'd from that from which we speak of stream from which we maketh loom of senseth?

Japan would collapse first in the threeway. They were already stretched thin with WWII while trying to maintain a military almost exclusively Japanese. Japan would need to re-structure their society to allow their conquered territories to become part of the Empire. The Soviets and Americans would have a fucking field day causing rebellions left and right in Japanese territories.

nope, that's regional. if you really knew english grammar you'd know the comma is a massive debate raging across the world due to differences between regions.
as an example i just typed that above using one school of style which only uses the comma when the sentence would otherwise not be understood.

be careful when attempting to be a grammar nazi in english, often you'll make a fool of yourself by trying to assert something as proper or the only way.

which marks the start of a parenthetical expression containing unnecessary information, namely the writer's interjected thoughts on the statement.
this expression requires a comma preceding which and following it's ending, at "actually makes sense"
but within this expression is an extra aside, an unnecessary little description of how such a thought arises; namely that it comes about "when thought about"

no because that's not non essential information.
in general if i would say something as an aside, unnecessary for all readers, but perhaps for some confused, i interrupt the sentence with a comma. such is standard practice for novels written to be the main character speaking to the reader.
an example of this is the unnamable which makes heavy use of this.

as i said i write to express myself on here, i don't need to remove all character possible from a sentence. i mean, fuck it, if we're going to just turn this shit gray and try to divorce the writer's characteristics from the content we may as well remove interjections too -- they're hardly professional or conductive to easily understood english.

yeah but that's your own character. thats 100% grammatically correct, and i personally kind've like it, easily understood and somewhat beautiful, but you're divorcing the original writer from the sentence. the style isn't completely removed but it's definitely a different person speaking there.
