I'm a big fan of Holostars and have been for quite some time now. I've heard things about how Yagoo is personally invested in them, and some people calling Holostars "Yagoo's pet project." I've also seen that he's drawn fanart of them, I think I had heard he bought Rikka a guitar, and has even collabed with them at some point, I believe Roberu has mentioned he played Mario Kart with him at one point. Is there validity to any of this? I think it's really nice that he is if it's true, and I think it's safe to assume they're valued and wanted by him in the company.

As others have said, they pretty much are, Yagoo acts much closer and friendly towards them than he does with the girls, and has even collabed with them on a few ocassions as well as interacted with them via twiter and appeared in their chats from time to time.

That's probably a good part of why, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he felt some guilt about having recruited the lads, hoping to help them out and turn their lives for the better, only to leave them on their own and changing the company in a way that makes the Stars feel like they aren't actually part of it and the public that the company attracts not being interested in male talents.
Which is probably worsened by the fact that the Stars have lost three members already and that a good deal of their success actually came from things that the company or brand didn't really have a hand in.

Things are improving though. Roberu's "Winning Son" moment happened less than a year ago and in that time span he's gone from less than 10k subs to hitting 160k this week or so. He made more than a good chunk of the girls last month, Aruran and Astel made more in SC than a few popular Nijis and even Miyabi made a decent amount in SC for his birthday despite being the second lowest of the active members. They're working hard, things will continue to improve for them and that while they will probably never reach the meteoric levels of popularity the girls have I don't think it matters a whole lot. The recent NND stream Roberu's roommate was on shows that he's in better physical shape than he used to be which is a pretty definitive sign that things are getting better.

I know and I couldn't be happier to see the boys' efforts finally bear fruit and see that they are much better than they used to be, I was just talking about the past and the struggles the boys had to go through in part due to Cover's mismanagement and how Yagoo may feel some guilt because of that.

OP here, there's probably a lot of merit in what you said, almost all of the Holostars members getting to 100k is proving that this industry actually wants male talents and isn't solely about the girls, as great as they are too. It's nice to see that they're actually valued by Yagoo and the rest of the company. I think it's also a testament to them being valued and wanted by not just the company, but people outside. Pretty recently Roberu has become friends with Yuuki Ono (Josuke from JJBA's VA, thanks to the help of Iofi by the way, what a legend,) and now has a weekly radio show I think with him, on top of him getting a 3D debut which I think broke Holostars records for viewership numbers, and Rikka has been writing anime songs and recently did a song with Calli, as well as a RiTunes Labo which from what I've seen basically everyone loved, myself included, not to mention the Astellie arc which really feels like the most brother/sister relationship in the company, it's always fun to watch them both together. They're doing great and I'm really looking forward to whatever is next.

That probably had to do with it a bit, Roberu has always been hesitant about collabing with the girls, since he knows the kind of dangers he and they are when interacting with each other due to him being an idol fan too plus not wanting to be seen as a mere leech, and with how Matsuri can get at times and how she acted during that stream maybe he simply decided to be more cautious.
Which isn't surprising since from what I have heard other male friends of Matsuri have also expressed hesitation about wether it's okay or not for them to interact with her or viceversa.

I remember a few of months ago, i think, he expressed his desire to collab with her again after stating that they haven't talked in a long while and was hoping she was doing well but Matsuri on the other hand seems to completely ignore his existence since she didn't acknowledge any of the huge milestones he reached like the 100K and the 3D debut which should be a huge red flag in their relationship.
