Anyone else feel like hololive has become incredibly boring by now? There's nothing new or exciting going on, just playing it all by the book with no innovations anywhere. This year has been such a snorefest

Yes, they only get their shit together for 2-3 special events per year, maybe a few 3D lives are decent. Imagine the biggest thing they did this year was the con, which was circlejerking about the characters to sell massive amounts of merch in which the chuubas themselves barely took a real part on (not talking about concert).
But they forgot or don't care anymore about the day to day streaming.
And yes, I don't mean all the holos all the time.
It's incredible how much prop up they need to do something interesting.

Yes, somewhat, so I went and watched that NijiEN jackbox stream and the first thing I saw was «deez nuts» for an option and chat going wild and I just realised that I think I am either too cynical or depressed to actually enjoy streamers in general, not just vtubers. Going to take a break for a bit.
