I unironically want Miko and Suisei to stop interacting with each other as soon as possible.
I don't really hate anything about them and I know Suisei is a good girl but I just feel like PekoMiko was far more genuine and I really really fucking miss them.
Nowadays I don't really watch Miko's streams anymore since she can't shut up about Suisei and I avoid every single one of her collabs with Suisei. I feel exactly the same way anon, I pretty much stopped watching Miko once she talked about reason she doesn’t stream with Pekora anymore. And hearing her talk so much about Suisei hurts as well, I love Miko and I don’t want to start hating her which is why I preferred to stop watching her instead of forcing myself to do so. I only recently started watching her streams again, but mostly just follow her watch-alongs. It’s also sad that us PekoMiko fags are in part guilty for her stopping her interactions with Pekora, and that made me feel like shit too, I was never one to bother her about it in chat but I know many fellow shippers did and I regret being a part of that even if I didn’t actually do anything the like.
I’ve never been a fan of Suisei either, and her attitude just kind of bothers me most of the time, and while it’s obvious she’s got good chemistry with Miko she will never be able to understand her or be on the same level as her the way Pekora used to be, they’re just too different.
Miko is obviously obsessed with Suisei and is going to get her heart broken again, so that’s another reason I don’t think she should be so dependent on her/hang out so much with her, it’ll make the end of it be that much more painful.

It’s quite obvious Suisei isn’t gay, unlike Miko. At the very least she’s one of the least interested in relationships out of all Hololive, and never talks about that kind of stuff either be it about women or men. Her occassional “flirting” with people like Aqua is some of the most weak out of everyone, and even Botan does that kind of stuff better so that’s saying a lot.
No matter how interested Miko is, Suisei just doesn’t seem to be more than a good friend and it’ll inevitably end with Miko getting a broken heart unless she distances herself at least a little from her.

Looks like PekoMiko's friendship didn't survive Hololive. Neither of them expected this level of success or exposure and, after a while, it was too much to handle for Pekora. This is more or less what Miko indirectly said, that by having the "we're business lol" excuse with Suisei it lets them dismiss people who demand collabs and interactions from them. The obvious assumption to make then is that those demands are what eventually killed PekoMiko.

Meanwhile, miComet became closer after they were both famous, their relationship grew organically and we saw it develop over last year. They know what they're doing and won't have the same issues as PekoMiko.

Yes, the Raft stream made this super obvious when they were reminiscing about how they used to be when they first met and partnered together compared to now. They also have similar backstories of starting from nothing in their vtuber careers and clawing their way upwards. Just thinking about her made Miko’s heart beat in a frenzy. A stunningly beautiful, ambitious girl. A seriously competitive girl who hates losing. She was scary and that made the hunt that much more exciting.

Miko had been working for weeks now to get inside Suisei’s head. To become the only thing Suisei desired. With any luck, today would be the day. The tipping point. The point of no return.

She was sitting at a cozy and secluded table in a cafe. Perfect spot for a date. Miko checked her phone and saw she had a message from her prey.

“On my way! See you soon <3”

Miko smirked. That little message had pumped her full of adrenaline. This was it. Any moment now, Suisei would sit in front of her and spill her heart out. She leaned back in her chair, enjoying the afternoon sunlight coming through the cafe’s large windows. This did little to calm her down. Before long, she heard the door open. Suisei walked in, looking distracted with her phone in hand. She quickly made her way to Miko’s table. Miko gave her the sweetest, cutest smile imaginable as a greeting.

“Adorable as always!” greeted Suisei. She looked calm and collected, but there was purpose in her eyes. Miko felt intimidated yet excited.

“Hey~ that’s your greeting Suityan, don’t use it on me!” Miko replied, managing to keep her composure.

“I’m sorry Mikochi, but I can’t stay. Some of my friends decided to drop in on me unannounced, and they’re throwing a party at my place. Want to come? It’s gonna be fun I swear!”

No! No no no! This isn’t what was supposed to happen. Doing her best to keep her cute mask, Miko was in pure panic now. What to do? Yes? No? No would mean she’s not interested. It would destroy weeks of work. Was this on purpose? Had she been outmaneuvered? Miko had to say yes. It was a risky play, but it was the only play. Feeling utterly cornered, she had to accept.

“Yeah sure!”

“Cool, let’s go, the Uber is still waiting outside.”

And so they left the cafe. The moment they were outside, Suisei locked her arm with Miko’s, making them look like a couple to anyone looking. How bold, thought Miko. Why was she doing this?

“Maybe I’ll tell them you’re my girlfriend, Mikochi.”

Suisei was looking at her with a dumb grin on her face. Miko was blushing like a tomato.

“What the fuck?” resonated inside Miko’s head. This is the kind of thing I do. Why is she doing it to me? Why is it working on me? Miko mumbled something unintelligible which made Suisei laugh. Suisei’s cute laugh.

She was losing. Hard. Miko could only hope that this party would present her with opportunities to regain control of the situation. As it was, Suisei was the one likely to get a love confession first.

“I played with fire again,” Miko thought as they got in the Uber, flashbacks of burning her Minecraft house down in her head, “I’m not good with fire.”

And Suisei was an inferno.

They finally made their way to Suisei’s front door. The ride there was excruciating. Miko had been overthinking every move, trying to match Suisei’s assault of affection without looking more interested than her.

With other people there, she would be able to hide in the shadows and strike when advantageous. Feeling relieved, Miko stepped into Suisei’s apartment.

It was empty. No one there, not one soul, not even a big sister. The door closed with a click.

Miko turned to face Suisei. She didn’t even say anything, having come to the realization that she was tricked. So easily, so naturally. Finally her mask broke as she gave Suisei a look of awe.

That’s all she said before pushing Miko against the wall. Suisei kissed her straight on the lips.

“You can’t escape me.”

Suisei’s tone was low and hoarse. Miko was melting. She accepted that this time she wasn’t the hunter, she was the prey. She made her peace as Suisei roughly grabbed her by the collar and dragged her to the bedroom.

A total defeat.

“I’m well connected as I’m sure you know, Mikochi. I’ve been talking to your... victims. Learning about you. About what you do.”

“Ah…”

Miko was shoved into Suisei’s bed face first.

“You’ve been a really bad girl, haven’t you?”

Suisei was on top of her, ripping off her clothes.

“Yes…”

“You must be punished for what you’ve done. Tell me you want it. Beg for punishment.”

Miko begged.
Miko woke up in pain. The events of yesterday flashed into her mind. She was already wanting for more. She opened her eyes. Suisei was laying next to her, looking straight into her soul.

“Good morning, Mikochi.”

Suisei shut her up with a finger.

“Your punishment will continue daily.”

Miko nodded.

“Go clean yourself, you smell like my saliva.”

Suisei handed Miko a towel as she got up. Miko ran to the bathroom, butt naked.

Maybe this is what Miko had always hoped for. Hoping someone would stop her.

There was a certain peace in atonement.

As unlikely as it is for her to be up at this hour, I try texting a few times. As expected, no luck. Next, I try calling her. She almost always wakes up to a phone call. Except this seems to be one of the few times she doesn't.

Please wake up, Miko-senpai. I feel like I'm going insane from not knowing for sure what's happening. So much so I'll do what would usually be considered unthinkable for me, I'll go outside.

I just walk inside while she's frozen in place. I can distinctly hear a gasp coming out of her as I storm in, going through her living room and corridor to reach her room. My heart was almost ripping a hole in my chest and jumping out as I pushed the half-closed door open. And I genuinely wish the smell coming from this room wasn't what I think it is.

"Ahhh.."

And there she was, in the same bed I slept just a few months ago. Suisei-senpai was utterly naked, staring at me with a surprised look on her face. It doesn't last, as she immediately grabs a blanket to cover herself, holding it over her chest.

I feel like my heart is being broken into a million pieces. Over and over again. I stare in pure disbelief, my brain refusing to process what is happening fully.

Her voice is as cold as ice. I suppress a shiver, my brain screaming danger at me. But I refuse to listen to it as I yell at her.

She stares at me in disbelief before her face contorts into annoyance. Still holding onto the blanket to cover herself, she gets off the bed, taking a more active stance closer to me. This is bad. The fact she's much taller than me and her eyes, those damn eyes, make her look so threatening that I almost panic and run away. I grit my teeth and miraculously stand my ground, glaring at her.

I didn't even ask, and I just assumed everything would be fine. But I couldn't be more wrong.

My knees get weak from the sudden realization, and I feel like the floor is being pulled from under me. I stumble forward, almost losing my balance entirely when someone grabs me. When I look up, a pair of blue eyes stare deeply into mine
