The problem is Ame is a lazy hikki that hasn't learned how to properly manage the expectations of her fans or people around her. As a lazy hikki who's a bit older than her, saying no first instead of maybe or yes is the optimal way to go. IE if she said no stream in her first members post today she wouldn't have to make some weird excuse and we would have accepted it instead of waiting around only to be met with disappointment. But if she did go through with a stream the teamates still awake would be pleasantly surprised and anyone complaining about missing it live would be told to watch the VOD. Ame is good at keeping secrets one day she'll learn to turn her hikki ways into a boon instead of a disappointment. Making people wait around until the last minute is fucked just say no from the start/
In short, don't ever say you're going to do something people want if your unsure, just say no and if you do end up doing it you get praise instead of the other way around.

I'm coping by accepting that I would have more time with Ame but I can't help but feel miserable that no one asked Ame to a collab, I feel like no one really likes Ame other than being a co-worker/acquaintance.

Wow, you won the jackpot!
Anyway, I much prefer solo Ame anyway. Beats staying up for what feels like a decade after Monopoly softlocks and screws her over and waiting for her to say something every 10 minutes. I've got nothing against the other girls in that collab, but their voices were so grating, you could have shredded cheese in seconds(either that, or I was just tired and short-fused from staying up so late.)

There's a difference between not liking someone and just not feeling like approaching them for a collab. When there's like 7 other girls who are always willing to collab and are more open to it, you're more likely to ask them. Or if it's a group offer you would expect them to accept it over Ame. It's been known for a long time that Ame isn't usually one to make collab offers outside of the big VR ones. Ina also doesn't instigate many collabs.
