I think the best myth collabs were any of the ones that involved drawing. They mesh pretty well when they're doodling together.

They've reached the point in their careers where they have been established as their own channels with their own niche content to offer, much like many of their senpais. It happens to everyone. Hololive has a set pattern of letting the talents do group collabs and grow their gens while also showcasing their dynamics with each other and solo. Now that they're set and don't need to have the "crutch" (used very loosely) of gen collab content, they can work more on marketing gigs, advertisement, and merch. Just like how the JP girls go on talkshows, radio shows, market campaigns, etc, the myth girls have grown big enough and influential enough to do this. It wasn't just about numbers and big fanbases, it's about learning to go from streamer to member of a large organization that accesses multiple streams of revenue that then allows them to offer larger projects such as concerts, anime, games, merch, etc, which is the end goal for the company. The company knows how important the international market is now and is utilizing the myth girls to push more international fanbase growth across all branches. We're seeing collabs between ID and JP branches, with EN. We're even seeing more collabs with the council girls who need a boost to grow as big as the myth girls. This is also helpful for the myth girls as well, because they now get to spend less time streaming, take some much needed breaks and focus on irl issues like housing, taxes, and family obligations; while also allowing the council girls to fill in the lack of EN content and grow their fanbases by utilizing the existing myth one.

Short bus: The girls are focusing on their solo content now that they're big and share lots of the same subs, they're taking breaks more often since there's more EN people to fill in the lack of content for the fans, and they're going to be working on bigger stuff for the company now that they have 3d models and are for sure marketable.
