Not even trying to downplay a multi billion USD company here, but a proper deep-learning based AI does is identify and find patterns that are normally invisible to a reasoned party.
Even if somehow YT spam detection are less AI powered and more of a directed approach, detecting spam based on channel is significantly more efficient than doing so with each and every of it's viewer accounts, especially when YT have thousands of streams to be processed in realtime every second.
One balanced approach would be determining whether its viewer should or should not be validated by the flag status of the channel.

The big issue was the server merge ->SportsFes did burn out a lot of Holomem from MC. Too much MC in too short of a time period. MC activity dropped off significantly in Hololive after that, and has only recently started showing SOME signs of perhaps picking back up.

Well, a lot of that had to do with the need to gather resources, and the fact that with only 5 of them only Gura/Ame/Ina had any real overlap in the game, and even then only if Ina stretched for longer streams.

That works well for Pekora but, as Aqua shows, there is space for guided arcs and scripted finales as well, like her AquaMarine ship building or Akukin hiring and relay (which to this day is the highest attended stream of some of the low CCV girls)
