Any gamedev nerds in here? You could probably work on commission to make environments for VTubers, or for yourself.

In Unity? Why would I do that.

Environments for vtubers in Unity? This is the first I've heard of this

Theres open source software called VMC4U which lets you control a .VRM vtubing model inside unity. I’m working on my own environment, but I’m just a hobbyist in Unity so it’s pretty shit right now.

I forgot to mention the same software has an unreal engine version and is what codemiko uses for her environment

It’s mostly in moonrunes but is pretty much plug and play if you already have a model and capture software

better off buying from asset stores, 3D environmental art commissions can get quite expensive
(in range of 2-10k in dollars)

I wish there was something similar for Godot

>> No.2247381

What programming language does Godot use? If you had the time and patience to translate the moonrunes you probably would be able to make it happen since they have the source code up.

>> No.2249305

>>2247381
Godot has it's own scripting language, actually but I know it uses javascript and either c# or c++ too

>> No.2249603

>>2249305
The unity version is entirely c#. It can be done
