If Hololive dissapears overnight, along with all its talents (no respawning/reincarnating), or if it declines in quality or values, and no corpo takes its place as the "seiso idol company" then I'm out.

I'm not watching anything that acts like NiniEN and every indie I've tried is just not there in terms of quality.

I firmly believe Holo's tight, closed enviroment helps it feel unique and exciting. If my oshi left Hololive I'd have a very hard time keeping up with her as an indie because of how strong The Holo Box™ is.

Agreed. I've been following Niji for nearly a year, but the more they pump out more livers, the more I realize that Hololive has a better environment. I can't really explain it (for me I'm sure it's not the idol thing) but somehow I feel more comfortable following Hololive than Nijisanji.

This magical environment is proven to be the truth if we are looking at kson. She can only gained an average of 2k ccv now compared to her previous persona. Only her hardcore fans remains, the rest also realized that she didn't have the same atmosphere now that she's not part of Hololive anymore.

I might also try to find a new hobby if Hololive somehow lose that atmosphere in the future and no other agency can take its place.

I don't think there will be a line that needs to be crossed for me to quit watching vtubers. Realistically I'll just progressively lose interest in vtubers over time. I used to be a pretty big miofa and I'll always catch her streams and mengens all the time. But my interest in vtubers started to fade over time since I pick up new hobbies and have less free time over the past 2 years or so. I just watch clips sometimes and if I manage to catch someone live I'll watch for a bit but that's it. I think at some point I'll just quit watching anything vtuber related naturally. I still watch asmr stuff tho but that doesn't really count imo
