Which is why it's the most hated weapon in my opinion. Why should I give up slots for Flinch Free just because some asshole wants to be a fucking edgelord instead cutting off the tail like their supposed to?

Also, the entry skill level is REALLY low but you get high rewards for only meh at the weapon. It's the real beginners weapon, not the SnS.

haven't played Longsword so gona have to believe you there and yeah SnS is a pretty solid weapon. you have slash and bash dmg with it. also like to use it against monsters that fly around to much so i can flashbang them easy. Really ruined Teostras day once with it since he got stuck in a loop of trying to fly away just to get flashed again
