Wait really!? Honestly I quit the gameplay portions of the streams a while back because she explictly told people not to backseat and then chat backseated anyways and mods didn't do shit about it and neither did shadow. In fact her mod even ignored her request and backseated and she defended him saying "oh it's okay it's helpful". I seemed to be the only one who cared so I left as to not cause a scene but I'm surprised she actually said something. I genuinely think she's too beta to assert herself most of the time so it does lead to situations where people ignore her rules. She sort of sets herself up for this but honestly if the mods actually took time out of their chat simping to, y'know, moderate i.e. timeout backseaters this could be avoided.

The main points I was trying to make is that they showed a willingness to confront chat about things but not a willingness to actually stop the backseaters which causes her to get upset in the first place. If shondo wants to implement anti-trolling rules that's up to her I guess but it's the selective enforcal of what shondo wanted by mods bugged me.

So by her account, it's close to her normal voice, but I feel like she's exaggerating a bit. You can hear a calmer version of it in the late night streams.
Way more different is if you go way back in the vods or clips and hear how she sounded when she was less hyperactive or confident. She even still had a distinctive accent back then too.
And then there's now and again when she tries to simulate her off-stream voice and it sounds like none of the above and more like the girlfriend roleplay voice.
It's confusing but I've just settled on that she has enough vocal control that she could use any of those naturally depending on what she gets used to using.

I'm also a britbong. We still use miles per hour and feet and inches for height. One time when we were in the EU they tried to switch us to the metric system for things like weight but the elderly people down the market couldn't figure out the conversion rates so they changed it back. The UK is weird because I'm pretty sure we're the only place that uses a hybrid of both Metric and Imperial depending on the situation. i certainly hope you're right. maybe it's just a sign of my own menhera issues, but i just feel like every time she's feeling vulnerable or sentimental she directs her energy at a certain part of her audience. i guess it's natural and inevitable, but it challenges the illusion of her loving everyone equally etc. that comfy space is only there while you're there. as soon as you leave the stream you're no longer loved by her or cherished by her.
