Sora was passionate and hard working enough to keep hololive alive from the start without her they never would have managed to stay alive and would have killed their vtuber division like all the other kizuna knockoffs. However she kept it alive long enough for miko and fubuki to go viral and bring people in, and for korone to pander to eops. This single handedly resulted in the worst of the worst of vtuber culture to become mainstream.

Indies and the EN branches heavily aped off hololive due to their success. Every startup in the west has "we want to be hololive" written all over them.
Maybe an exception with PC but they're literal schizos and doubled down on twitch faggotry.

A lot of the indie vtubers are also heavily focused on the hololive copying as opposed to branching out.

I'm not pretending she herself was innovative but she is the linchpin that allowed hololive to live long enough for it to become viral. And hololive as a whole has ruined the vtubing scene.
I have nothing against sora, but removing her from history would prevent hololive from become what it is.
