I find sometimes find Kiara to be hypocritical or a bit whinny. Also, her obsession with idol culture is so strange and bizarre for a girl around her age. I find Kiara’s personality and behavioural problems make sense when you consider her prior history. The trauma and emotional baggage you’d get from that rather neatly explain the “WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS” questions. Doesn’t excuse it but makes sense enough to pity rather than hate, at least for me. It seems like she has gotten better as well during her time at hololive as she has come to terms with her position and old wounds have healed a bit.
Even beyond that some of her behaviours that can make her seem like an obnoxious streamer work better as a performing idol, she is certainly the best out of HoloEN at that currently which isn’t really a surprise considering her years of experience.
As for why she chased such a strange dream at such a young age, I don’t know other than that she seems like she was a weeaboo classic, back when it was just a word filter for Wapanese. Ken-sama stuff.
