Let's be honest for once.
We all know that 99% of western vtubers are completely talentless, dull e-thots and their non-content has no appeal beyond your parasocial feelings towards them.
There are a few good indies, but HoloEN is incredibly dull, sterile and soulless, NijiEN is the same but made up of rejects who were too shit even for HoloEN and vshojo is just literal whores whose skillset begins and ends at Amy Schumer tier "jokes" about genitals.

I dropped watching JP vtubers for NijiEN. It's the opposite of dull, soulless and sterile. They have actual close bonds, interact frequently in ad-hoc manners, all support each other, join randomly on peoples streams, go off the rails entirely. A lot of NijiJP fans who got into EN compare it old NijiJP when it was more soulful like that instead of steadily becoming more corporate and restrained like it is now as it grew.

Most vtubers are like that. Seriously.
The only reason you guys don't feel this way about japanese VTs is because of the language barrier.
Very few Vtubers are genuinely talented and interesting.
