Better yet just don't use /vt/. Nothing good has ever come from this place. You will gain nothing from lurking let alone posting here. Reading threads about yourself will only make you feel worse. You having nothing to gain and everything to lose by coming here.
And stay off of social media as much as possible. Only use Twitter to announce things.
People you talk to online are not real friends. Do not talk to them about your problems. They cannot help you. However bad off you are mentally, they are a thousand times worse. Any advice they give you will only hurt you. Again, they are not your friends.
If you have problems with your coworkers, management or your audience, just remember you only have to interact with them a handful of times a week at most. You have the entire rest of the week to yourself. Just bite your lip. If they are causing problems you just can't ignore, then handle it discreetly. If you can do that at whatever shitty jobs you've had in the past, you can do it at the best job of your life. Nothing good will come from talking about that shit publicly.
Keep your opinions about anything even remotely controversial to yourself. This means anything to do with politics, religion, social issues, economics, philosophy, etc. No matter how passionate you may be about any of those things, nothing good will come from talking about it on stream. You will not "reach" anybody. You will not change anyone's mind. You will not have any impact on the real world. The people who agree with you will continue agreeing with you, only they will become more obnoxious about it in chat. The people who disagree with you will continue disagreeing with you, only they stop watching you. The people who are neutral will continue to be neutral. Anybody saying you need to use your platform for good or whatever horseshit is delusional or trying to sabotage you. You are playing an anime character on youtube. You are not meant to be taken seriously.

Forgot to mention, don't try to pander 4chan or other image boards. The kind of people who use image boards will give you nothing and expect everything in return.
