Probably depends on what contract details she and Cover have worked out behind the scenes. Doubt that's how it will go though. Despite what her haters think, she's not the type to burn bridges so I expect she would run out her contract and simply not renew. I'm pretty sure she renewed not too long ago because her first contract would have had a non-compete clause which she would have insisted be removed as a condition of resigning so she could be active again on her roommate account, so she will probably need another 6-8 months before the existing contract expires.

I think this is a very good question. It's an unusual arrangement that has no direct allegory because the music is created as the character Mori who is the intellectual property of Cover, and not the talent behind Mori. I think this would be closer to people who compose music for games or anime. They are usually paid for producing the music as part of their job but the company retains all rights to the music. The producer will never be able to distribute the music themselves although it doesn't seem too difficult to get rights to perform the music live, I imagine Cover would be jews about it.
