No, but I would expect that good singers would be at least able to find some kind of traction in a local scene or something. Is getting exposure as a vsinger comparatively difficult? How frequently do talents with potential who produce content semi-regularly get trapped in 2view purgatory with only a handful of subs?

I wouldn't say it's anymore difficult then getting exposure as a regular vtuber, but that's also not an easy task and it's certainly subject to the whims of the algorithm. A great example of this is Fuji Aoi and Kanade MiMi, who both debuted at similar times, are both excellent singers, were part of the same company, and yet the former has 10x the number of subs and a record deal with Sony, while the latter was floundering pretty hard for a long time outside of her massive Tiktok follower count. You can also look at the relative growth of someone like AZKi vs nayuta, especially considering that the latter had an established fanbase of many years, and yet the Diva is way ahead of the cat even in things like album sales. While as a rule, the established names are all very good even if 'the best' is impossible to quantify, the converse of the ones who're small time not being good isn't so much the case. Sometimes they're new and you can find them before they blow up, and sometimes they've just not found their big moment despite being on the grind for a long time, like with Hachi and her years spent on Reality.

Stella and Madoka both stopped streaming.
Madoka seems to be in a remote location where it's hard to stream and Stella seems to have health issues, but the timing is strange.

What is her endgame even? Sometimes it seems like she's triple dipping between A***, nayuta, and her day job, at the expense of reduced output for the two music channels. Does she really have that little control over A*** that uploading under nayuta is a far better option? I would've thought that the Hololive audience would be the easiest and most promising demographic to tap into. Surely things like Imaginary Arcadia could've been released by the virtual diva without going against the character/theme since it wouldn't really conflict with the idol-like image of 3rd outfit.

We'll never know the exact details of her contract, but my personal suspicion is that she did have that little control given how everything she's ever put out has liner notes from both her and the frog. Given that she's appeared on CD as nayuta beside Aki as Aki, my guess is that the frog had an image for her that they're trying to match, while as nayuta, she can do whatever she wants. Don't think of AZKi as so much of a singular person like a normal Holo, but instead of her being the vocalist and front man for a multiperson act, at least for the preceding years. Now that her contract has changed and the frog graduated himself because he felt like he was holding her back, I think she'll be much more free to do things as the diva. I feel like she also does a lot of stuff as nayuta as a test run for doing them as AZKi whether technical side or just getting comfortable, which is why she's been doing her live concerts for a couple of months now and then we got that great acoustic session just recently as AZKi or publishing music that she composed herself like Toumei na kimi.

She probably just likes music and needs a lot of freedom as an artist.
She will never be as free while working at Hololive and having to go through management will always weaken and slow down any creative process.

She originally made her nayuta channel because AZKi was a 2 year project and was not planned to continue.
This channel would have allowed her to keep being active in a different way after her AZKi project ended.
She may had planned originally to reduce her singing activity around that time at the same time as she got married.

Now she ended up with more than she had planned originally and keeps her AZKi channel, but that part may have partially ended for her and she just keeps it for fun to do things she can't do on her own channel.

Actually, if she's going to be like a regular Holo, she has more or less complete freedom, though you're right that it will be slowed down by going through management, but that doesn't seem to be as much of an issue these days with how some of the girls are cranking out music. However, you're completely off base with the creation of the nayuta channel, as shown by the fact that it has videos going back 6 years, and her NND channel is over double that in age. She's pretty clearly just coming to terms with the fact that in the modern age, streaming occasionally is part and parcel of being a small time musician, especially one with an international audience, and she's never been afraid of putting herself onto the internet which is why she became a utaite in the first place. If anything, she's become much more active over the years instead of slowing things down just because her personal situation changed.

I also would doubt that she stared streaming more often because of the change to route beta, given that she debuted her L2D around the time of the 7th Life where she said that she's staying, but maybe she had commissioned it beforehand as a backup plan, but even then she had done more then a couple pngtuber streams beforehand. I think they're just two different venues for her to stream, with her feeling much less pressure as nayuta because she's got a much smaller audience and no one cares too much if she wants to bother with her model, which is why she's done some of those guerilla vent karaokes.

She seemed to carry a form of loneliness that could be found in someone who couldn't attend school and have friends like a normal person because of it.
I had originally thought it was because of family issues, but that may have been the result of her being sick often.

I remember the moment she sang Fansa as the last song in her 100 song singing stream.
She got emotional at the moment where she sang "watch me more" and said she didn't often have people celebrate her birthday together with her.

I hope she recovers and can live a more normal life.

Someone was kind enough to post a list of bullet points from this La Priere stream where they talked about starting their 12 month monthly song goal, and it just went public last night. Interesting to see that they do consider themselves vsingers all, since one of the things that they say is if they hit a million views on one of the songs, they'll make 3D models and perform on stage. While they didn't hit a million on any of their songs, they did do pretty well with hitting 100k for every song after a month, so I wonder what their plan will be going forward.
