Nagi has been getting clipped on youtube which helps a lot. Hina's voice I think filters a lot of viewers and clippers becuase she's always peaking her mic and moving far and close to her mic. She's entertaining though that stuff is jarring for most people to sit through for extended periods.

Also I think in general communities have hit a fatigue for subathons and donothons. It puts way too much pressure on the whales to keep it going who might be a whale for more than one streamer. Lastly I think the way these subathons are being done is just getting abused by the streamers. Last year at least a streamer would sit and stream 12-15hrs before going to just sleeping. I'm seeing streamers stream for 5-8hrs then go to just sleeping for 16hrs and come back

Look at the games they choose to stream, that's the issue in this particular scenario.

In general, while there's absolutely more Male viewers who are interested in Female streamers, I consider it more of a Female buff as retarded as that might sound. Males have been shown to do just fine, especially this last year (even without Niji's help), we've seen several large males show up aside from the E-Celebs. Kenji, Ais, Frost, Randon, Zenlight, Little_S (I know), and even Papi as much as people have to include him. There's plenty more who aren't coming to mind immediately but Male viewership has gone up a lot more vs 2020 when you were hardpressed to find a single male who even had partner.

Bloom and Elliot just play shit most people don't care about and don't really seem to be aiming for growth anyway.

Bloom doesn't really capitalise on the teacher element and just kinda does gaming streams from what I see on his VODs up

Mint just streams a variety of oldish games and still gets an audience regardless. So I'm not sure if the males playing old games is the issue.

My teaching stream content is mostly focused around singing. The vtuber choir I organized had rehearsal streams where I went over some basic singing fundamentals with the participants and taught them their parts for something that became part of a larger whole. Those are a lot of fun, and generally do well, but organizing it takes a lot of work, so I'm trying to do it once a quarter. I'm trying to think what would be good for spring. The answer is quite literally in your face and you refuse to see it, people do it /here/ all the time. They cater to /wvt/ which is the "community" you shill to initially. They form bonds with and create content with similarly minded creators (Krimbo's group, the Denny's hangout, Bloom's choir thing, etc) and grow together via exposure of one another's audience which creates familiarity and also helps direct new viewers from their individual content towards one another. The key thing they're all missing is the solo content created with the intent of it being a YT video. No one /here/ has any worthwhile YT presence because they're just taking shit from stream and uploading it. I know this is angry number hours and I'm not super popular or anything, but this has been working for me somewhat. Depending on the month, I get more discovery and attention from the Warhammer community than the Vtuber one. It's possible I might get similar traction in the tabletop rpg community, but my outreach there is pretty weak outside of uploading session VODs which sometimes seem to do pretty well on Youtube.
